Accents on Asheville′s expert team members can assist with the following services for convention, meeting and incentive and other groups:
AIRPORT TRANSFERS: depending on how many guests you have on each arriving or departing flight, we provide motorcoaches, minicoaches, executive vans, limousines, minivans, SUVs or sedans. We typically provide roundtrip transportation from the Asheville Regional Airport (AVL), the Signature FBO at AVL, the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) and the Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) to your group's hotel in Asheville or western North Carolina. Other airports are by request.
MEET & GREET SERVICES: we have staff members posted at the Asheville Airport who can meet your guests upon arrival (with a sign of your choice) and direct them to our vehicle that will bring them to your hotel, and we can also post them at your hotel where they will direct your guests to our vehicle that will take them back to the airport for their departure flight.
GROUP TRANSPORTATION: being a part of one of the largest private transportation companies in the southeast United States, we can accommodate groups of all sizes with local transportation using our motorcoaches, minicoaches, activity buses, executive vans, limousines, minivans, SUVs and sedans. We can also provide roundtrip transportation for your entire group from your location.
REGISTRATION DESK STAFFING: we have professional staff members who can be available to staff your group's registration desk and complete any necessary tasks required which gives your staff the opportunity to focus on other priorities.
HOSPITALITY DESK STAFFING: we also have professional staff members who are extremely knowledgeable about the local area and they can staff your hospitality desk and assist your guests with questions about the group's activities, local restaurants, attractions and other opportunities in the area... your group's personal concierge!
DINE-AROUNDS: we are the one-stop-shop for your group's evening on the town, facilitating group reservations at the local restaurants that are the most appropriate for larger groups, working with restaurant staff and chefs to provide special group menus adhering to your groups' requirements, providing roundtrip group transportation from your hotel, and upon request, handling all the restaurant payments and gratuities for your group.
ONLINE REGISTRATIONS: we can provide a safe place on the internet where your guests can register for your group activities and safely pay for those activities and any other services you may request.
GIFT BASKETS & AMENITIES: our talented team provides groups with customized gift baskets and gift amenities based on your budget and parameters. We specialize in providing local food items and products made by local purveyors, artisans and craftsmen in and around Asheville and the mountains of North Carolina. We also commission local artists to create unique gift items that can be given to your guests before, during or even after your group comes to Asheville, including some items that can showcase your special logo.
ENTERTAINMENT: our team members work with many local musicians, stage and strolling magicians, mentalists, comedians, performance artists, living statues, caricaturists, buskers, disc jockeys, karaoke hosts, dancers, cigar rollers, actors and other professional performers who regularly provide live entertainment for the private special events that we manage.
LOCAL SPEAKERS: we have a pool of dynamic local speakers who enjoy sharing their special knowledge with groups travelling to Asheville. Many of our local speakers are also authors who can provide signed copies of their book to your guests, the perfect gift and memento for your group's trip to Asheville. They also love to personalize and sign their books for individual guests after their presentation.
SPECIALIZED TOUR GUIDES: many of our guides are experts in their fields and can provide a customized group tour for your guests. Some of those tours include walks and hikes with fitness experts, botanists and other scientists, garden tours with horticulturists, tasting tours with culinary critics or award winning chefs, brewery tours with cicerones (beer "sommeliers"), winery tours with wine masters, distillery tours with master distillers, architecture tours with architects, art studio tours with prominent artists, and historic tours with local historians.
PHOTOGRAPHERS & PHOTO BOOTHS: we facilitate photography services for group conferences, meetings, award luncheons or dinners and other special events. Our professional photographers provide candid event photography, individual and couple portraits, group and panoramic shots, professional headshots with backdrops, step and repeat banners, and we can furnish your group with edited photos delivered to you as prints, high-resolution digital images on a USB flash drive, or they can be downloaded to a site that you and your guests can access online. Our traditional and whimsical photo booths with props and our selfie mirrors are a fun addition to your special event, and your guests can take a home a printed memento of your event and/or access a password protected website where they can download images from your event.
PYROTECHNICS: it is possible for us to provide fireworks displays at many of our outdoor event venues and provided we have enough lead time, we will acquire the appropriate local permits and coordinate a professional pyrotechnic show between the local government entity, our certified and licensed pyrotechnic artists, the event venue and the local fire marshal.
EVENT DESIGN & DÉCOR: our expert inhouse event planners choreograph special and themed events for groups coming to Asheville from the design of the event, to the setup, all the way through breakdown of the event. We assist groups with venue layout, staging, special seating, décor, specialty linens, table centerpieces, audio/visual, lighting or gobos, sound, entertainment, menus, food and beverage, staffing, and if needed, tent and other event rentals and roundtrip transportation.
CENTERPIECES & FLORALS: whether it's a simple group breakfast, an awards luncheon, dinner or an elaborate themed event, our professional florists will provide your group with table centerpieces, floral designs, votive candles and other tabletop decorations based on your group's budget and theme, or the season.
SPOUSE & KIDS ACTIVITIES: in addition to the standard activities and tours that we provide groups, we also create and facilitate special or customized activities and programs for spouses, children and other guests of meeting participants while their group meetings are going on. These activities and interactive programs can happen at the hotel where the group is staying or they can be offsite in and around Asheville or elsewhere in the region.
